Logan's first bath at home, as you can see he did not like it.

First Few Weeks With Logan
Logan is now 2 and a half weeks old and all I can say is we love this boy so much and feel so blessed to have him! It is so wierd to know that I am a mom and that this precious little boy is ours! Motherhood is challenging, but I love it. He still has day and night mixed up...thanks to my working nights I am sure, so we don't get a whole lot of sleep. He is a pretty good baby, usually only cries when hungry or now when he has bad gas pains and wants to be held! I love to look at him and love all the faces and noises he makes! He is very strong and I feel like he is growing so fast already! Here are some pictures from his first few weeks.

Baby Logan is Here!
So I am going to do this in 2 posts, this one will be of his birth and the next will be his first few weeks.
I had my doctors appointment on thursday, April 1st. I was really hoping I had progressed from my last appointment and the doctor would tell me to go to the hospital. But, despite continuing to work full time (12 hour shifts on my feet and walking!) there had been no progression for 3 weeks! I was a little dissapointed, one because I wanted to have this baby so I could hold him, and two because I was scheduled to work over the whole weekend and really didn't want to! But then the doctor explained that we could wait to see what happened in the next week and then talked about being induced and asked if I would like to have him this weekend . . . of course I said YES! So he went to check to see when he could get me in the hospital to induce me, he came back and said what about today! I said today works great!
I ended up checking into the hospital that night at 11:30, (they were super busy so we had to wait). Once I was admitted and settled in, the nurse checked me and I had actually progressed a little from my doctors appointment...(I guess this kid just needs to be threatened to do what I want!). So they induced me just after midnight and by the morning I was ready! A few good pushes and baby Logan was here!!! He weighed 7lbs 11oz. and was 19.5 inches long and completely perfect! I know I am extremely lucky and had a great pregnancy and birth. Logan is absolutley amazing, we love him to pieces already and can never get enough of him!
